Today's world- ancient pagan roots: part 1

 Ancient civilization and an organized society was first observed in Sumeria. Egypt also rose to be a super power of the then known world, a cosmopolitan center of crafts, commerce, architecture and even religion. It also had a strong military force and a powerful political system intertwined with its religious system. People came from all nations to seek asylum or refuge or to have a better life in this sophisticated country as would happen with every super power that would follow after Egypt would have turned into ruins. After Egypt, came the Assyrians then the Babylonians took power followed by the Medo-Persians, followed by Greece, then came Rome which gave birth to modern day politics and the way of life that we see in much of today's world especially in first world western countries.
In this article i will make an attempt to show you how today's society has been greatly influenced by these ancient powers that were. This means that these same ancient powers also indirectly influence our way of life. There are principles that were passed on from kingdom to kingdom, dynasty to dynasty that still play a major role in today's society yet most of the time we neither see it nor read into it. An understanding of these issues will bring an understanding of why things are the way they are and what we can expect to be in the future.
There are certain questions we all ask but at times never bother to pursue the answers, questions that might seem unimportant yet they are crucial in shaping the way we think and ultimately how our society functions. Questions that have to do with political structures, money and currency, Religion and symbols that we use and their meanings, time and how we name time, language, culture e.t.c. These questions are very important for us to see the world in a clear way and even to challenge certain things.
We are living in a time when much of the world is gravitating towards "circularism", a 'free" society with unlimited liberties and freedoms. People just want to do what they want with whatever they would want to do it with in whichever way they would want to do it in, without the restraint of religion or fear of consequences from God. Yet in reality the very fabric of what governs our politics and society is embedded in ancient principles to which one can not detach the religious connotations that are intertwined with those principles. We observe all this through the celebrations we still make that were in honor of ancient pagan gods and even the symbols we use on our currencies and company logos, we see it in in how we name cosmic bodies and months of the year and even the days of the week. Everything within this "circular" system is in one way or another rooted in paganism and principles that date as far back as 3000BC.

Spectators in time, 'the big bang'

I can understand why scientists came to the conclusion of the "big bang" theory but it was irrational to assume that free expanding and chaotic energy could ever birth some semblance of order without some form of intelligence giving design and setting certain parameters and physical laws to govern the expanse of the universe. This form of intelligence however would have to be immeasurably powerful and unified in purpose but its existence can not be doubted.

 Continuing along the path of irrationality is the theory of evolution which almost every scientist believes in today to the point of near religion. It fails dismally to address certain critical issues that could give credence to the theory. You will also find that there are no 'in-between' or transitional organisms and it would be possible to genetically manipulate primates so that they take a higher form within the evolutionary structure. yes we can find similarities between species but that does not translate to them sharing the same genetic line and this progression if possible would be such a random experience left to the mercy of nature the species environment that it would potentially give rise to countless other species given the potential of new DNA chemistry that could arise. 

Given the billion possibilities of the evolutionary path organisms that share the same genetic make up could potentially evolve into a billion different species for example by now some humans would have eyes at the back of their heads, four arms and gills, or some lizards would have gained the ability to fly etc. There are too many assumptions that we have to work with for this theory to hold and even in the light of such assumptions it still fails to hold.

 The fact is there had to be some form of intelligence that designed the creatures that be. that is the only way there could be such perfection even in the way they interact together and the balance of what we call the 'Eco-system', which is just part of a bigger cosmic system of order. 

It wasn't by serendipity that the earth is positioned exactly where it is, the speed at which it rotates, the precise time in which the moon revolves around the earth and the precise time in which it(the earth) revolves around the sun. It doesn't miss a day or a second, the way the earth tilts back and forth so that the sun can reach all of its surface within that complete orbit and not a single time does it go off track. We can divide a day to milliseconds and expect the earth to have completed one full rotation within 24hrs, nothing is left to chance or some bang.

 Science does not contradict the idea of a Creator infact it goes beyond words to prove that there is Something, some life force , some form of intelligence and Power that keeps the universe and governs it. It proves beyond a doubt that there is a source, a being that put into existence all that is and is to come. We call Him YHWH who made all things through His son YESHUA, ''blessed be His Holy name"! 

We see His magnificence in creation in the creatures that crawl upon the earth to the known edges of the universe where the quasars burn with incredible energy. without another Force to intervene that chaotic mass of energy at the beginning could never organize itself to such perfection of even create life with such perfect balance, creatures with such perfect symmetry and complexity. life forms with such an amazing metabolism. Even one of Newton's laws of motion states that: an object that is in motion will not change its velocity unless an unbalanced force acts upon it. This is known as uniform motion.

    

Elohim in his infinite wisdom created all that is visible and invisible and put it all into order. God spoke and yes i believe there was a "big bang" as the universe came into being, no human mind can even begin to imagine the amount of force, power or energy that was released at that moment as the WORD put into being what was on God's mind. The heavens tell of His glory and the earth his splendor. We have been in time spectators of all his marvelous works here on earth and even more than just spectators yet we have not yet come to know half a percentage of all that He has done let alone come to understand it.

Poetry: Dark Pages

Dark pages that flip to tell my story, inked in blood still oozing from open wounds,
moments undeserving a 'sorry', dark shadows still hiding those viscous hounds,
war trodden beauty now drenched with the smell of death,
the sound of guns firing bullets of fear that fall to the earth,
but not before they rob me of time and precious breath

                                       in that moment

i tasted the bullet as it hit my pallet to leave a world of the living dead,
yet they mourn for my sweet release, a night i will not miss.
in this place a rose is just but another thorn, it's color and beauty all but gone,
Drowned and twisted beyond recognition, the sad truth of humanity
Rain falls like incessant tears, a pathetic release from this insanity

              A million voices muted in turmoil,

a right to life refuted
Eyes furtively look upward for release, death welcomed like a kind disease
A shuddering end to a story no one wants to hear, chapter closed
And though my story ends here, a million more bodies will be disposed
An inexhaustible nightmare that replays tormented screams that still rise shrill,
Where there is life, death breeds too.

                                       A million more dark pages to fill.

a few words; the mirror concept

If we desire an ideal world, we ourselves must first become ideal!

If we truly desire a pleasant world, we ourselves must first become pleasant!

and if we desire to see transformation, we ourselves must first become that transformation that we want to see!

To be better people beyond empty words,

to help a child beyond all excuses,

to make a better world, to see a better future beyond industrialization.

Whatever we desire to see, let us first become that and we will see it manifest all around us!

From one man to you .....

I know of the shame and the guilt, darkest of nights that tore your innocence away. Dark secrets you were forced to keep that still haunt you even today, things you cannot share even with the closest of companions. I do understand the hurt and the pain that every man has caused you. A beautiful sweet flower yet they trembled you under foot, now you feel like a rose on the ground left to wither in the scorching sun of contempt and bitterness. They all told you lies, one after the other, reaping away a part of you as they ravaged through the garden that is you and left, one after the other.
     Kindness that only sought that which is between your thighs. The only truth they told you is that you are beautiful yet they never showed you just how much. They only saw an escape for their desires, an object for their pleasures, satisfied they rolled over and fell asleep but yours was not sleep but a deep darkness that fell over you time and time again. Nights when you wished it was day and days that you wished were nights without any comfort and after all you had no need of such trivial things in life as comfort. I know and I do understand. Look what they have done to you, they have taken every little star that used to twinkle in your bright stunning eyes and made your smile as cold as the heart that you carry. They have muted the sweet sound of giggles and laughter in you now a dark silence prevails.
     Your conscience blames you and you seek justification for all that has happened to you that you think you have done. Everyone else doesn’t know and if they knew they would judge you even without saying a word but I understand and I know. Love is but a fantasy, a fragment of one’s imagination and you dare not indulge in such a fantasy. The world has told you that the greatest love of all is to love yourself, yes the same world that hurt you, but you are still lonely left to your own shadow for company in that conceited self love.
     I know and I understand yet it doesn’t have to be that way. You don’t have to shed another bitter tear or live with feelings of resentment, guilt and regret. You don’t have to hide those demons of a past so tainted and blemished- You don’t have to hold on to the pain! You don’t need to rely on your own failing strength and carry a shattered world on your shoulders. You need a friend, you need hope to live again, you need a father, and you need a love that gives the peace that you are seeking. I promise you there is going to be a brighter day and there is One who has already created that day for you with thoughts of love and most tender care just waiting for you to consider Him. His name is Yeshua.
 He knows and He understands far much more than what your reality assumes.....this I know!

The stain on the President's shirt!

When any Head of State is addressing people whether he be in his own country or in a foreign land and there is a visible stain on his shirt he is bound to be judged in any one of the following ways:

He is a Blind leader
Some people will say the President is blind, "how can he not see that big stain on his shirt?". If he then can't see the stain on his own shirt, how is he going to see the way forward for the country? How can he even see our needs if he can not notice the need to remove that horrendous stain. That is why he never saw the earthquake coming and we have always told you so that he can not see, what more proof do we need, that stain is right under his nose just like the corrupt judges and ministers in his cabinet but he can not see it too. He neither has vision nor foresight and we can not have him as a leader".

Those around him are blind
Part of the crowd will say that those around the President are blind. That is to say his security, his advisers, his ministers and all the company that can be associated with the presidency. They will ask, "how could they not see such a big stain that's right in front of them". Therefore they are not qualified to minister or advise the president if they can not see even the smallest of problems. They are not educated neither are they refined or cultured else they would address that stain, maybe they do not even know that it is a stain and they certainly have no idea what it implies, "no wonder the earthquake hit us" That part of the crowd will analyze and conclude that they can not be ruled by people who are so blind  that they can not see the stain on the president's shirt when they are so close to him.

Those around him are either cowards or traitors
Some individuals will also say that the people within the president's circles are cowards or they are traitors. Those individuals will say that the people around the president fear the president to the extent that they can not tell him about the stain on his shirt which in turn reflects badly on the leader as well. "how can they be such wimps?" they will ask whilst others would have concluded that within the president's circles there is a traitor or are taitors who intentionally put the stain on the president's shirt so that he would look bad, "and rumor also has it that the same traitors caused the earthquake"

it is a media scam
Some people will blame the media for the stain. They will choose to believe that there is no stain on the leader's shirt but that it is the machinations of the media trying to put the president's name in disrepute. "Do you remember how they made everyone believe that there was an earthquake" they will say " so you should not believe whatever the media says. "its a lie there is no stain" they will declare. The same will have the media as their only source of information but as they told you "you never believe the media, yes if you want the truth go on the internet 'online' CNN is better than 'live' tv CNN"

The country's enemies put the stain on the President's shirt
then there are also those who will be bent on believing that the country's enemies secretly put the stain on the president's shirt. That it was an act of terrorism which shows that the country's defense systems need to be beefed up. they will say that they know of secret spies who have for a very long time planned to put the stain on their leader's shirt and that those responsible should be brought to justice, "Remember when everyone else thought we had an earthquake? now we have been silence for too long" They will march and die crossing rivers to defend their leader from the stain.

The president is just a man
Then there will be some who will simply see the stain, point it out but then listen to the man's words and watch what he actions. That part of the crowd is not too concerned with the stain on the leader's shirt and after all 'he can also make mistakes', "Remember how honest he was when the earthquake hit the country and how he tried"


"And that is why you will never find any president in a stained shirt"
